Directional Prayer

 

We all have times when we just fee lost. A feeling of where in the world am I headed and where do I go from here. Please know you are not alone. Everyone has experienced this in some form or the other. But God is a God of Direction. Though he will not give all the steps. He will definitely give you the next step you need in order to make it to your destination. He is faithful and just and of his word.

Dear Heavenly Father,

 

We are feeling so lost at this moment and season in our lives. Not knowing if I should to go to the left or the right. Sometimes it just feels so confusing. And sometimes the things that the world offers looks so inviting. In some cases I have done the things I know I should not and in other cases just tempted to do them but did not and at times walked away from temptation trusting you. But through it all I thank you for your keeping power and your saving grace at the times that I need you to keep me the most. Even if it means keeping me safe from myself and my own crazy choices that dont reflect you in any way. And I thank you for Grace to come back into your will and never taking your grace for granted.

 

I know that the name of Jesus has the power to overcome all things. I am surrounded your heavenly host and your holy spirit is always at work  keeping me and guiding me. So I give all things to you, my will, my ways and I give my burdens to you and take your yolk upon me for mine feels heavy when I carry it and yours is light so Im trading my ashes for your beauty.

 

I thank you for leading me. I thank you for direction. I thank you for guidance. I thank for having enough mercy for me to submit my will to you in the mist of being self directed. I thank you for new mercy's everyday.

 

I am so thankful that one day you gave your life as a ransom for me. I repent for not trusting you and now from this moment I am open to you and listening to you and I trust you with my whole life and heart and direction and ways. For you are mines and I am yours always. Lead my path and I will follow.
